This beach is found opposite to the Rethimno coast in the municipality of Rethymno. This sandy beach extends to a length of 200 meters and a width of approximately 40 meters. The nearby area is a popular tourist resort with several hotels and rent rooms. Facilities which are available here include sea sports, rent a car, rent a bike and rent bicycles. Around the coast there are some Tamarisk trees and Oleander bushes. The flora in the nearby areas include the Asphodel, the fauna seen include the gull, shallow and the house sparrow. Access to the Rethymno beach is from the public street.
