GENERAL INFORMATION

Not far from the archaeological site is the modern village of Delphi, occupying a position of the greatest beauty, while 12 kilometers to the east is Arachova, at an altitude of 960 meters. The town is a busy resort, especially in the winter months because of the nearby winter sports centre on Mt Parnassus . arachova is well-known for its woven goods and other handicrafts.
