Galini is a small picturesque village located on the soutern side of Naxos, within a distance of only 7 kilometers from Chora, while its inhabitants are very few.

Between the village of Galini and the sea there is the monastery of Ipsilotera which used to serve as a base for the farmers when fighting against the Franks. |
